What you'll learn
- Participants will know what is pharmacovigilance, its terminology, the function of Qualified Person for Pharmacovigilance (QPPV) and the types of adverse reactions (ADR)
- Participants will be introduced to different reporting types like spontaneous reporting, individual case reporting ICSR & others. Participants will understand the requirements of filing them through a case study provided
- Participants will learn how to recognize ADRs in patients & make causality assessment through an application with a case study. Participants will know the process of reporting ADRs to the regulatory authority
- Participants will learn the different sections of the pharmacovigilance system master file (PSMF) and national pharmacovigilance subsystem master file (PSSF)
- Participants will be introduced to a real example of PSMF in order to grasp how to build a similar one
